It was another great experience. The restaurant recognised my status and served my friends and I our welcome cocktail (which we could choose from the menu). Very attentive service.
Food was great as usual. Huge portions. Ordered a dinner set for 2 and a pizza to be shared between the 3 of us. We could not finish the food. Had to pack part of the pizzas Cos we hated to see it go to waste.
The view from the restaurant was of course beautiful and for my visiting friends, it was a memorable way to end the trip.
Another amazing menu at a reasonable price.
Quality of food was good as usual.
My picks would be the croquettes, grilled octopus leg and beef tenderloin.
It was good value for money. Portions are really generous and they even threw in a plate of complimentary clams.
I really like the tomato tiramisu. Really interesting twist on the traditional caprese.
This is an amazingly huge menu. All the courses were delicious. Love the beef and foie as well as the croquette.
They always serve a really good bargain for restaurant week.
I really like this place. Third visit here. Food is good, service is great, beautiful decor and it’s usually nice and quiet.
I felt the deal was value for money.
Came on an empty stomach and left feeling satisfied.
Quality of each item was pretty good and there were a large number of petite portions which made it great for sampling.
Always a great dining experience here. From the delicious food to the impeccable service.
They gave me a wrong salad but more than made up for it as they gave us the wrong salad for free and served me the correct order promptly. The poor guy kept apologising and even gave us a huge pot of tea at the end of the meal.
I had blue cheese and chorizo in my salad which was yummy. Followed by the mushroom soup. Strong flavours but the soup was not as thick. I’m guessing they use less cream or a much lighter cream for the soup. My main of lamb shoulder was so tender and paired really well with the sauce. Serving was pretty generous too. At 198 for the set lunch, I would say it’s a really good bargain.
It was great trying a variety of foods in smaller servings. Quality of ingredients were outstanding as usual. It’s a really good deal.
That was a huge menu for restaurant week. Super generous on the portions and they were out to impress with some interesting presentations of the food.
They deserve those awards on the walls.
Amazing views of the Bund and a lot quieter than the touristy strip near East Nanjing Road.
Service was really attentive as they filled up our water without being asked and it was easy to get their attention when we needed anything else.
Food was really impressive too. The ingredients were fresh and more importantly, not overdressed. It was great tasting the original flavours of the scallops, the beef and the vegetables. Presentation of the dishes were also kept simple but elegant.
For the price of 288+10% and a free glass of Moscato, it was definitely good value for money.
I also had a peek at their brunch menu and I have to say, I will definitely be back to try out their brunch on the terrace as the weather warms up.
