Description
Located on the second floor of Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai, TSURU features classic Japanese kaiseki cuisine. The interior decoration, inspired by the traditions and culture of Japan, contrasts reds, chocolates and pine hues as its main colour. TSURU consists of a sake bar, a 100-seat restaurant and a beautiful sushi and sashimi counter, along with two VIP rooms, offering great dining options for whatever occasion.

Chef Masami Honda has over 48 years of experience in Japanese cuisine. He has worked for the time-honoured and renowned restaurant group, Nadaman, for 27 years, during which he headed several Nadaman restaurants in Osaka and Yokohama for over a decade. In July 2009, he formally joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as the chef of Nadaman Japanese restaurant at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai. Now, Chef Honda comes to TSURU at Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai as director of Japanese cuisine. He would like to present authentic kaiseki to every customer visiting TSURU.

Chef Honda creates his own distinct seasonal set meals, which contain almost all the highlights of Japanese cuisine, including appetisers, sashimi, tempura, meat, grilled fish, boiled dish and staple food. For each dish, Chef Honda selects seasonal ingredients personally and meticulously follows the principles of kaiseki. He insists on home-made sauce using fresh ingredients and basic soy sauce, salt, sugar and fish sauce only.

Chef Honda spares no expense to bring fresh fish slices from Kagoshima and prepares his own sauces with kelp and pure water in addition to other fine ingredients, consummate culinary skills and his passion for work.

    좋은 위치, 좋은 분위기로 레스토랑 위크로 가기에 매우 좋았다. 하지만 양념과 국물없는 소바가 낯설었다.

    [环境]餐厅周的套餐,没有达到这个人均。总体来说还是不错。门口的台阶有点危险,地方蛮宽敞的。
    [服务]服务的话应该是五星级酒店的,不算热情,也不算是无视你吧。基本应该是服务周到。
    蒸蛋很不错,下面有肉有蟹肉。荞麦冷面也可以量不是很大,但是味道还不错,寿司应该可以,下次可以再尝试一下。
