The food was excellent. The service in the beginning was a little stiff, but got better as the afternoon passed. Sometimes they forget to serve more champagne but it's because of how busy they are with other tables so it is fine.
That's the right place if you want to have a plenty of cantonese delicacies!
We had lunch with a large group for the 50% discount on the Sunday brunch. The food was good, service as well...although a bit strange that the servers don't bring drinks to the table and you have to get them at the buffet yourself. All over fine brunch experience.
One thing was not so good...the 50% was not meant for the Champagne feature of the brunch...this felt a little wrong as why would they have to pay more for their entire brunch?!?
Its no different than any other buffet that i have been to, ok only loh~
I have been there before when opened and it have been fantastic! This time the service was horrible:
- When we arrive after show our reservation, the waiter still inform us the normal price!
´- During the buffet some Chefs were eating in front of the guest!
- I believe the superviser with the red jacket, he served the wine very well, at the end, another waiter can served the last glass and didn´t ask if we wanted one more bottle. And still put the bottle again in the wine bucket as if if had still wine!
- This same waiter at the end, came to our table ask me if I wanted coffee or tea and ignored completely my girlfriend!
For a Marriott 5 star hotel I thing this is unacepptable!
