Although I was initially turned off by the prices on The Bull and Claw menu, having giving them a try via Restaurant Week, I now understand that the sheer quality and quantity of the food does indeed command a high price. Any major foodie has probably experienced fine dining at a restaurant only to be leaving hungry and craving a hamburger or something afterwards. You are at no risk leaving The Bull and Claw hungry between the pea soup, generously-sized steak and half-lobster with fries and salad, and the most delicious chocolate lava cake around. Also, this isn't something I think I've mentioned in a review before, but their indoor chairs are comfortable. Like, crazy comfortable.
