Description

Paulaner @ Binjiang opened its doors on May 21st, 2003, locatedLujiazui financial district in Shanghai. Along the banks of the Huangpu River in Pudong, the restaurant boasts one of the most stunning views of Shanghai’s historic Bund. Like at other outlets, Paulaner @ Binjiang specializes in authentic Bavarian and international cuisine while serving our popular micro-brewed Paulaner beers in an inviting and relaxed setting.

Paulaner @ Binjiang offers three varieties of traditional beer: Lager, Dark, and Wheat. Brewed according to the famous 1516 German Law of Purity, the characteristics of our beers are initially soft, bitter, of sufficient body, and free from off flavors. Because our beer is unfiltered - which is the only difference between our Bavarian partner company's brew and ours - it becomes cloudy when dispensed, distinguished by its natural coloring and appearance. Furthermore, having our own microbrewery – at our Fen Yang Road and Expo locations - enables us to guarantee freshness to our beer that is otherwise difficult to find.

Because the restaurant is located on the banks of the Huangpu River, it has unobstructed views of Shanghai’s legendary Bund. During the winter months, guests can enjoy the view through our large glass façade, while in the summer we provide plenty of outdoor seating on our patio, enabling guests to drink in the view while dining al fresco.  The Bund is particularly majestic after sunset, when it is illuminated, and we are proud to offer one of the best views in town.

In addition to being home to one of Pudong’s best views of the Bund, Paulaner @ Binjiang also offers a great beer garden.  The surrounding outdoor space has been turned into a tranquil German-style beer garden with over 160 seats, providing a quiet escape from Shanghai’s busy commercial hub.
