  Honestly, if I’d ever revisit Mercato, I’d order a la carte instead of giving Restaurant Week another shot. The RW sharing menu was a big letdown in both value—the set menu was outrageously overpriced (at least RMB100 more excl. service) compared with ordering separately—and execution. The risotto, as well as other savory dishes, was too salty—some other reviews mentioned the same so I’m not alone in this complaint. Service was a bit slow but we expected that on a weekend night. Perhaps the tiramisu and the Bund view were the only delights I could remember.
