  The view was lovely as ever from the ground floor.

  The changes made to the menu - such as taking away the delicious flavoured butters and different typical German breads, and replacing them with a small amount of unsalted butter and over-toasted slices of baguette were very disappointing and did not live up to the previous standards of the restaurant.

  Also, the delightful extra of having petit-fours and small chcolates offered to us before dessert has also been taken away. These 2 things alone made the restaurant seem a lot less welcoming.

  No one came over to ask us if we were enjoying the food, and we were only offered water to drink just before finishing the whole dinner. This did not feel at all like the Kafer I have been used to in the past.

  The new way of offering service and the food was not at all the luxurious feeling that you had previously from the restaurant.
